Narrative
Here I have my final prints for my narrative project. I decided to use the form of lino cut for my prints as i thought this would work well with the story and give the prints a nice look. I looked into artists such as David Gentleman which inspired me to use this form of printing although David primarily uses woodblock printing in his work. I really like the way that some of the prints don't come out completely clean and they have a tendency to come out patchy in areas, I think this gives them a their own identity and makes them more interesting to look at. Through cutting the lino I came across some problems such as not know where to cut out and where to leave. Because the images will be reversed when printed I had to carefully think about what parts need to be cut out and others that needed to stay.

After College
After my college course I will be working part time in my job I have in a local shop to help raise funds for a possible trip around the world. I have been thinking about New Zealand and possibly Australia. I applied to go to Falmouth Uni and then decided I didn't feel as if it was the right time or the right course. If I dont go traveling then I will be looking for a Internship possibly in advertising.

Web Layout
For part of my web design unit i have had to come up with my own interactive webpage. Here I have drawn some layouts that I could possibly take forward and use for my final design.
Show going up
Here are some photos that have been taken whilst the show has gone up. From the beginning the room needed a lot of work doing to it like repainting, washing, cleaning windows and other jobs to get it ready for the show. Classmates came in on different days to help.
End of Year Show.
Here are all of the images of my work from the end of year show. I am really happy with how they have come out and look great when they have been printed out large. My favorite image is of my Type poster, I have had a lot of positive feedback and I think this works well.

Final Major Project
For my final major project I have decided to look into wine branding. I have been looking into various wineries/ vineyards such as Chapel Down and Biddenden vineyards. I will be looking into the history of the companies and how packaging has evolved. One thing i will also focus on is recycling and how green and environmentally friendly the packaging is.
Here are some bottle designs that I have found that i like the look of and might possibly use ideas from to create my own bottle.

Lino Cut
Here i have been working on my narrative image project. I have decided to use a lino cut as my main image. I first decided to experiment by cutting a fox tail that I might also use in my work as a drop cap for the letter 'I'. I am also working on intricate image of the first scene of my poem 'The Thought Fox' by Ted Hughes. I plan to cut a series of three cuts from different parts of the poem.
